Phobias are anxiety disorders that are triggered when a stimulus occurs. Causes can be various environmental stimuli like humans, animals or situations. Sufferers often feel short of breath, get heart racing, sweating and abdominal pain when they are confronted with the stimulus. Often there is a significant decrease in the quality of life because people try to avoid the triggering stimuli and withdraw socially.

How Do Skype Hypnosis Sessions Work?

In advance of the session, you can let him know what you want the session to support. For example, you can request help with a challenge, goal, or physical issue. Hypnosis is a powerful tool for many issues including: anxiety, public speaking, insomnia, writer’s block, pain relief, fertility, and confidence/peak performance. Hamid personalizes each session based on your individual needs, just as he does with sessions in his office, and follows up with you the next day. In addition to the formal trance, he teaches you self-hypnosis techniques, such as EFT and NLP, that you can use to extend the effects of the session.

How To Prepare For Your Session:

Set aside time for the session when you can focus and be in a place that offers quiet and privacy. A comfortable chair or sofa to sit or lie down is ideal to help you get in a relaxed state of mind.

Additional suggestions to prepare:

  • Make sure you’re in a space where you won’t be interrupted (even by your pet)
  • Turn off your phone or anything that makes a sound
  • Go to the bathroom beforehandt)
  • If you wear glasses, take them off when we do the formal trance work so you can be more comfortablet)

When Is A Skype Session Appropriate?

Online hypnosis sessions are ideal if you can’t make it to Hamid’s office for whatever reason: you live outside Mississauga, or you prefer a session in the comfort of your own home or office.

Results expected: To see lasting changes plus depending on the issues, Hamid often recommends about 7 sessions spaced over a few weeks.

Why are 7 sessions so important?

Did you know that it takes 21 days to establish new habit patterns? In order to do some re-learning subconsciously we want to cover this time period plus make sure we have got to a place where we are then establishing new neural pathways in the brain. Thereby setting in place new habit patterns that will continue to work automatically in a much more positive way. In order to create a permanent, lasting change in the way we think, feel and behave we have to establish these new neural pathways in the brain.

Over the many years Hamid has been working with clients, he has put together a series of sessions that he know works to get the results you both want. Each session is different and involves many different techniques including direct or indirect suggestion, imagery, Ericksonian, Spiritual Hypnosis, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Future Projection. This selection of techniques will be dependant on what you will need to address the issues in the most rapid way possible.

Everyone can be hypnotised, it is a normal natural brain state. What differs among people is their level of suggestibility (this is not susceptibility) and this varies for a number of reasons.

Seven sessions is often the minimum number of sessions you can expect if you are suffering from issues such as Anxiety, Depression, Insomnia, Fears and Phobia.

How will Hypnotherapy feel?

Hypnosis is a safe, natural relaxed state and one which you have experience many times before (sometimes many times a day). You are aware and in control at all times. It feels like being half awake and half asleep, so your body is very relaxed and your mind is active.
